I replaced my Pilot 4 tires in March 2018 with Road 5’s…not knowing they weren’t really rated for my bike. I road them all summer 2018 and down to the BMW Rally in Lebanon TN. I had a good bit of rain through PA , MD, and Virginia. The tires performed excellent in dry and wet conditions. I rode through some pretty difficult rain and never had a single issue with hydroplaning or traction. Once I got down to the rally and spoke with a Michelin rep at the rally – Scot Clark. He explained that the tire was technically not a correct fitment for the bike and was happy to hear of my joy with the Road 5. I decided to purchase a set of Pilot 4’s at the rally for the ride back since I had about 7000 miles on the Road 5’s and they were starting to get close to retirement. Scot was very informative and I was extremely happy to talk with him. I love Michelin tires on motorcycles and have been using them on and off for the last 25 years on many different bikes. I would highly recommend them. Thanks Michelin!!

Got the Michelin Road 5 rear tire, already have the Pilot Road 4 on the front still. And all I’ve got say is I’ve got about 1,000 miles on it this year and I am loving every bit. Cold, hot, raining weather it performs very well, to the fact of I no longer have any chicken strips on either side of the tire. Again great tire would recommend to anyone. I am only giving 4 stars as of now, since I dont know the mileage I can squeeze out of them yet.
