I highly recommend the PR3s. I commute daily for 50 miles round trip in all types of weather conditions. The tires provide great traction. I am particularly impressed with the mileage. I ride conservatively and solo on mainly interstate highways keeping tires inflated to 42 psi rear and 36 psi front. I was able to get 16,385 miles on the front tire and plan to replace the rear next month with around 33K miles on it. Thanks to Michelin for such a great tire.

I was very pleased with performance of the PR2s. I was able to go 20,302 miles on the front tire and 30,105 miles on the rear tire. I ride conservatively, solo, mainly interstate highways, keeping tires inflated to 36 psi front and 42 psi rear and commute daily 50 miles in all types of conditions. The PR2s handled great on the RT and provided terrific traction.

Bought the road 3 just over a year ago and I have to say they are awesome in any weather and last a long time. As of now I have 25,000 miles on them and will definitely buy another set. If the road 4 are supposed to be better then those will be my next set. Absolutely love them tires.

I’ve recently replaced my Pilot Road 3s with the 4s. It was a no-brainer since my 3s lasted longer than the 2s and the 2s lasted longer than any other tires before. Dual compound tires sure have been successful for me – good performance and longer lasting! I remember the first ride on the Pilot Road 3s – reminded me of another tire company’s advertisement claim years ago where they showed a tiger clawing the road! I have 3 motorcycles and have 6 Michelin tires ….. period.

On my 2nd Set of PR3’s after moving from the PR2 , commute daily in all weather , these tires are a great all round sport touring tire, with great wet weather grip and very good longevity , my first set lasted 20,000 plus Km on a large heavy bike 260kg plus a. If you do a lot of wet weather riding then these are the tires to use , can’t wait to try the new PR4’s but will have a wait while for this set to wear out.
